POW Conditioning firstly focuses on avoidance and awareness tactics to ensure we help you to avoid conflict situations, but the hands on training you will receive, coupled with the fitness and conditioning also included will ensure you are superbly positioned to be able to manage unavoidable conflict situations should they ever occur.
Self Defence Whilst you will see a lot of striking, boxing, kicking, kneeing stations on the circuits in the group classes (especially in the smaller sessions), there may be some of you that wish to take the self defence aspect of their training to the next level. The POW Conditioning self defence system has been built using a combination of the many arts we have been involved in over the years. We will help you to develop your striking ability to be able to generate the utmost power. You will gain vertical grappling knowledge and anti-grappling techniques to help you control situations in which may enter a close range (beyond that of striking).
We will work with you on posture, footwork, head and body movement, core control and explosive power release within the smallest of spaces/ranges when needed!
A lot of the techniques and drills we will work on with you, will ensure you develop your core power and fitness to levels far beyond the average person.

There are many other techniques we will use that help us to grow your ability to levels to more than safe standards. Pads, Bags, Striking under duress, CV based striking/attacking, HIIT striking, Grappling & Anti-Grappling drills, Kicks/Legs/Knees used to build focus/fitness and stamina. |
The self defence systems that we use, have been pressure tested by some of the countries leading coaches (from whom we have learned) on many occasions over the years, and its safe to say 'they work'!
